About the material
Kordeko is a flexible decorative stone - a thin, bendable facade panel made of 95% natural marble powder applied to a multi-layer flexible membrane (PletaFlex technology). It keeps the natural texture of stone yet weighs only 4.5 kg/m2 and is 4.5 mm thick.
Thanks to its mineral composition and flexible backing, the panel bends around arches and corners, is cut with an ordinary knife on site and is bonded directly with adhesive - with no heavy substructure. The surface doesn't absorb water (lotus effect) and resists UV, frost (over 200 freeze-thaw cycles) and extreme temperatures; it doesn't crack or crumble. It also reduces heat loss in winter and wall overheating in summer. Declared durability is over 30 years, and production is backed by ISO 9001 and 14001 certificates.
